The Youth Adventure Program (YAP) is a series of one-week "unique topic" courses of study directed by university faculty. In the afternoons and evenings, the campers are able to participate in social activities, innovative events, and interactive games. Students have access to the Texas A&M Recreation Center and also compete in our heralded "Amazing Race" and "Wacky Olympic" competitions. The camp is residential, and all students are housed in a luxury dorm with adult supervision. Courses for 2010 include: Veterinary Medicine, Business: Advertising & Marketing, 3-D Graphics & Animation, Architecture: Designing Cities, Sport Management, Parks and Recreation, Medicine, Photography, Broadcast Media, Investigative Forensics, Computer Design, Physical Science, Robotics, Astronomy, Engineering, and a course devoted to Attending Texas A&M University (information pertaining to applying and getting accepted plus introduction to "The Spirit of Aggieland").
